...or something about the overcast skies that put me in mind of this song just now. Although the story takes place on "the third of June, another sleepy, dusty Delta day," for me it evokes a mood I associate with a cool, cloudy afternoon which may foreshadow a dark storm... I love the bluesy voice and the string arrangement.
